Supari Studios - The minds behind the music video of "Full Dope"

They say friendship really never goes out of fashion. It’s been two years since we’ve seen our favorite on-screen besties Damini, Umang, Anjana, and Siddhi. This season of the Emmy nominated Four More Shots Please! saw the leading ladies back with a bang - literally! Visually representing the powerful but youthful theme of the show, Supari Studios, the branded content vertical of Kulfi Collective, partnered with Prime Video to launch the music video campaign for season 3 of the show. As a part of this association, Supari Studios curated an aspirational and dynamic music video for ‘Full Dope’, the first single from the much-appreciated third season of the show. The video was aired three days before the show launch.

The song is voiced by HipHop music sensation, Raftaar and features the sassy, unapologetic and fierce lead actresses of the show - Kirti Kulhari, Sayani Gupta, Maanvi Gagroo, and Bani J.

Prime Video’s original Four More Shots Please! instantly connected with the youth of India with its spirited characters and mindful storytelling. Taking this foundation ahead, for season three, Supari Studios created a music video that celebrates the girls while inculcating the message of owning your imperfections. In the video, each of the characters is viewed through the lens of adoration, charm and hype which blends perfectly with the ethos of the show.

The idea was to create awareness and curiosity about the new season of Four More Shots Please! amongst fans as well as those who haven't watched the show yet. Supari Studios is the award-winning branded content studio at Kulfi Collective with an expertise in creating music videos focused on unique visuals and narrative styles, mainly directed towards Gen Y & Gen Z communities. To reflect the energy of the characters and complement the upbeat track, the team has ensured a lively and energetic visual language through stylish shots, glitz and chic set ups. The usage of motion graphic elements, transitions, kinestasis animation, make this video stand out in all its glory, along with surreal and glossy lighting which uplifts the entire ‘dope’ mood of the music video.

In the upcoming season, the drama is bigger, the scale is larger and the friendship is stronger. The music video celebrates the show’s plot of female friendships and the personalities and attitudes of the characters. ‘Full Dope’ is represented in the video through a hook step as the moment of feeling authentically oneself, confident in their skin and taking back control.

Advait Gupt, CEO, Supari Studios added, “When you have artists like Raftaar, Mickey Mcleary, Kaptaan Saab coming together to produce a track - you know it’s going to be nothing short of awesome. We were absolutely thrilled to collaborate with Kali and the entire team from Prime Video to produce the Full Dope music video. Via the anthem, we hope to touch upon some of the themes in the Four More Shots series, a fierce show that celebrates the stories of strong female characters and their relationships.

Lendrick Kumar, Director of Full Dope added, “I was super excited to get the call to work on this video with the Four More Shots Please cast. The biggest challenge on this project was to maintain a balance between glitz and glamor along with important themes like individuality and empowerment. Adding Raftaar’s music into the mix sealed the deal for me, ensuring it was going to be banger. I'm quite happy with the final result which highlights each cast member separately but brings them together as a unit as we move towards the new season of this much beloved show. I’m quite looking forward to checking out the new season myself!”
