Supriya Sahu steps down as Director General of Doordarshan

Supriya Sahu, Director General of Doordarshan has moved on from the organisation. She confirmed the development on Twitter. She was with the national broadcaster for more than 3 years.

Her Tweet read, “Last day in DD as Director General #Doordarshan. Deep gratitude to everyone as I say goodbye to the iconic broadcaster of India after completing my 3+ years tenure. Heading back to Tamil Nadu, my cadre, to begin a new journey.”

She is also the Vice President of the Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union.
