SVF Brands and Spencer’s join hands for Puja campaign

SVF Brands and Spencer’s have joined hands, for their Puja campaign launched today that highlights the goodwill of the retail brand and its delivery services through heartfelt sho rt ad-format videos. The campaign, ideated by SVF Brands, aims to communicate a strong message about how act of kindness can be a major reason of spreading happiness in other’s life. SVF Brands got many renowned actors of Tollywood including Rudranil G hosh, Sreelekha Maitra, Lily Chakraborty and Gourab Chatter jee on-board, to embark on this new campaign for Spencer’s.

The campaign idea has been communicated in the form of three short ad-format videos, all of which brings forth the story of ‘Shyamal’, a delivery boy of Spencer’s. The videos show Shyamal to work tirelessly day and night for delivering orders on time and bring smile on the face of every customer.  Most of them rely on him and he is no less than a family to them. He does everything to cater to the needs of his customers and make them feel how Spencer’s is the store of happiness in their lives. Shyamal here is portrayed to be that ‘Parar Chele’ (local boy) who is loved by all. The main message here establishes how small gesture of gratitude from the customer's end can actually put a smile on the person serving them thereby making their day better. The campaign stands out to be special as the communication has used emotional appeal to touch the audience, which has been perfectly established by the campaign tagline, “Shyamal to apnar barir chele aar Spenc er’s apnar khushir dokan.” The  primary brand concept, that tells “Any spencer’s around the corner is your store of happiness” has been delivered in way that is bound to tap into the sentiments of the target group.

The campaign features the acclaimed actor, Rudranil Ghosh as ‘Shyamal’. Apart from him, we could also see prolific actors like Sreelekha Maitra, Lily Chakraborty and Gourab Chatterjee being a part of the three videos respectively.  Each of the videos have upheld a very beautiful relation between customers and delivery boy. In most of the cases, we fail to acknowledge the relentless efforts of the delivery people, but through this new Puja campaign, SVF br ands and Spencer’s have tried to celebrate the services of these people.

Positive about the collaboration, Arindam Biswas, Head of SVF Brands said, “This sole aim of this new Puja initiative was to establish an emotional tie between the brand and its customers. I am delighted that, SVF Brands as a vertical, has collaborated with Spencer’s, in spreading out an important message in form of a branded content to the audience. This is our first collaboration with Spencer’s in terms of influencer marketing, and we are looking forward to do more such exciting work with brand partners.”
