Swiggy appoints Michelle Kumar as VP-PR & Corporate Communications

Swiggy has appointed Michelle Kumar has as Vice President of Public Relations and Corporate Communications. Her last position was as Principal, Public Relations at Amazon, where she worked for six years. Kumar worked on Amazon.in, Amazon Prime, Amazon Pay, Amazon Devices, and driving PR for categories including consumer electronics and cellphones, appliances, food, and more while at Amazon.

Kumar announced her return to Swiggy on LinkedIn, stated,“Its back to work at Swiggy... From fan girl to brand custodian....deepest thanks to my colleagues Brian Ammanna and Sanjana Shetty helping me make this transition. Looking forward to building, learning and contributing to Swiggy’s vision of providing #unparalleledconvenience”.

Kumar is a seasoned communicator with extensive expertise in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Policy PR, Analyst Relations, Investor Relations, Internal Communications, and Change Management.

Kumar has experience dealing with agencies as well as corporations. MphasiS, an HP Company, EMC Corporation, IBM, Rediffusion DY&R, and Clea PR have all worked with her.
