Swiggy delivers over 1 lakh Subway Sandwiches this World Sandwich Day
Subway celebrates World Sandwich Day around the globe on 3rd November. This year, Subway® restaurants celebrated the day by offering ‘buy one and get one free’ at participating restaurants and online via Swiggy. More than 400 Subway® restaurants on Swiggy across 24 cities participated in this initiative and over 1 lakh sandwiches were delivered during the 24-hour campaign.
According to Swiggy’s order analysis, guests ordered over 5 times more sandwiches during this day, with Mumbai and Delhi ordering the highest. The most ordered Subway subs by Indians were Paneer Tikka, Aloo Patty, Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Tikka. The favourite accompaniments along with subs were cookies and truffle cake.
