Synovate brings in Peter Luff to the role of MD - Retail Performance

Global market research company Synovate, one of the big four custom research firms, has announced the appointment of Peter Luff to the role of Managing Director of Synovate Retail Performance, leading provider of data driven retailer services including footfall.

Luff joins Synovate from Silicon Graphics where he held the position of Professional Services Director, responsible for EMEA and the Americas. Luff's professional services and management career spans over 20 years and includes positions at FujiFilm, Crosfield Electronics and Electrolux.

At Synovate Retail Performance, Luff is charged with capitalising on Retail Performance's strong UK base to extend its geographic footprint and build greater analytics capability to supplement the existing data collection tools. Luff will report to Ged Parton, CEO Global Practices and Capabilities.

Luff takes over from the founders of Synovate Retail Performance (formerly SPSL), Paul Tombs and Dominic McGuiness, who will be leaving the business at the end of the year to pursue their entrepreneurial careers.
