TAM’s LV Krishnan joins Zirca as an Independent Director on the Board
Zirca, a global digital solutions company, has brought on board TAM India CEO LV Krishnan as an Independent Board of Director, while continuing his current responsibility with TAM India.
Krishnan will work closely with the Zirca Board members – Neena Dasgupta, CEO; Karan Gupta, Managing Director; and the team to support its aggressive digital products growth and diversification plans in India.
Commenting on the development, Ashok Kumar Gupta, Chairman, Zirca Digital Solutions, said, “It is a matter of utmost pride for us to have LV Krishnan join Zirca’s Board. In the past few years, we have become a rapidly growing organisation and are continually evaluating opportunities to bring in fresh thinking and new perspectives. We have long admired LV Krishnan’s ability to disrupt the Indian media ecosystem with his passion and his visionary ideas. As Zirca’s board member, Krishnan’s leadership and strategic perspective will not only empower every individual to achieve more, but also will help chart the future of our company.”
Krishnan added here, “In the age of IOT, VR and AI, the importance of CI (Consumer Intelligence) is a need of the hour. Zirca has stood for breakthrough innovations in products delivered on the digital platform. TAM has always underlined the importance of Intelligence from Audience Behaviour and AIS data sets as a core delivery in a fast changing media landscape. My decision of joining the Zirca Board came from the sheer inspiration of amalgamating knowledge of years of video content consumption dissection and data powered from TAM with cutting edge technology tools of Zirca. This will create a revolutionary process for dissemination of well-targeted messages in digital platforms to deliver superior experience, ROI to advertisers and content creators.”
A journey of over two decades in the world of media insights, positions Krishnan today as one of the most experienced and competent professionals in the media research arena. His contribution to the growth and development of understanding data analytics for programming and marketing of media brands has significantly helped mentoring a nascent blossoming TV media industry in India. His vision is characterised by the belief that all harmonious research work will spark a new insight that is bound to deliver ROI for the businesses. He has been a speaker at Global Media Research Forums of ESOMAR and ARF and continues to be a visiting faculty in leading B-Schools across India.
