Taproot to handle a special creative assignment for PepsiCo

Taproot India has won a very important creative assignment. PepsiCo has chosen the creative agency Taproot India to manage a major assignment for the brand Pepsi.

The creative agency which has been handling the creative duties for the brand so far has been JWT India. Besides, there is no news about PepsiCo discontinuing this association.

A spokesperson from Taproot India, confirmed the news to Adgully, saying that the agency will be handling the creative mandate on "a" particular assignment for the brand. Moreover, Taproot India will be handling this assignment single-handedly, and will be independently planning and implementing the creative campaign. The agency had independently pitched to the client and will not be working in collaboration with any other agency.

It is reportedly believed that the major assignment in question is the brand Pepsi's campaign for the upcoming Cricket World Cup. JWT India has been handling the creative account for PepsiCo since its launch in 1989.
