Tata Motors sales up by 34%

The top automobile company in India Tata Motors has posted a growth of 34 per cent in the month of October.

The company registered sales of 53,404 units last month, a growth of 34 per cent over the 39,729 vehicles sold in October 2008. Sales of the company's commercial and passenger vehicles include exports.

According to the reports, The company's domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles for October 2009 were 50,552, a 40 per cent growth over 36,168 sold in October last year.

However, exports of 2,852 units this October were lower by 20 percent the 3,561 exported a year ago.
