Tez surges ahead of competition with coverage of July 16 lunar eclipse

Tez, the Hindi news channel from the TV Today Network and sister channel of Aaj Tak, has emerged as the most watched channel during the telecast of the Lunar eclipse on July 16, 2019. 

As per BARC India data [Mkt: HSM, TG: 15+ All, Period: From 16th July'19 TB: 2000 to 17th July'19 TB: 0800hrs (12hrs), Gross Imp'000, for extensive coverage of chandragrahan], Tez garnered gross viewership of 4,984,000, placing it ahead of competitors like News Nation, which was placed second with gross viewership of 4,567,000, and Republic Bharat (3,176,000).
