The Ad Club Bangalore records 900 entries for Big Bang Awards 2013

The Ad Club Bangalore received nearly 900 entries for this edition of Big Bang Awards.  “It is commendable, because agencies welcomed the awards going online and have supported the move whole heartedly “said, Malavika Harita, president of The Ad Club Bangalore.

Over a hundred agencies and clients from all over India took part in the competition which has been growing in popularity, in the recent years.

“We could rope-in over 40 very senior communication Professionals on our Jury Panel from various cities to judge the top quality entries, with ease. In the future, we have plans to look at professionals from overseas to judge our entries“ Malavika added.

In keeping with the global trend, the Big Bang Awards had gone fully online this year. The Bangalore Ad Club has tied-up with Global Best Awards, US to take the Big Bang Awards Online.

Arvind Kumar, Executive Director of the Ad Club, said “Many Ad agencies & Creative hot shops across the country have taken part in the Big Bang Awards and we believe going online helped us in reaching out to them more effectively”.  “We are overwhelmed by the response received thus far for the Big Bang Awards and we appreciate the contribution by Global Best Awards” he added.

“The shortlist will be available on our site www.bigbangawards.com from this evening.” Arvind kumar informed.

The Awards will be given away to the winners at a gala event on Friday, September 20, 2013, at the Jayamahal Palace Hotel (Behind Cantonment Railway station) from 6:30 pm onwards.
