‘The Affair’ returns to Star World Premiere HD with a renewed approach to story-telling!

Star World Premiere HD, the leading English Entertainment Channel in India, is known for bringing the best and most critically acclaimed, award winning and star-studded shows to audiences. After sensational TV shows such as Game of Thrones, Westworld, the American Horror Story series and more, the channel is all set to premiere yet another award-winning show that showcases intricately woven plot lines and scandalous love affairs – The Affair Season 3 on Thursday, November 24^th at 10 PM.

As the name rightly suggests, the show highlights a torrid extramarital relationship between a struggling novelist, Noah (Dominic West) and a young waitress, Alison (Ruth Wilson) and promises to forever change the course of their lives. Told from more than just one perspective, The Affair also stars Golden Globe winner Maura Tierneyand Dawson Creek fame, Joshua Jackson in the lead.

In the earlier seasons, their trysts were revealed and their marriages shattered. In the last episode of Season 2’s Hamptons-set series, the story was left off with Noah confessing to a murder he did not commit. Now, he, his wife and ex-wife are left grappling with the aftermath and the consequences are about to unfold in the upcoming Season 3 of the show.

When asked about the plot of this season, Maura Tierney remarked, “It’s about our darker impulses as humans and what happens if we follow them.” The brand new season 3, opens three years after Noah has been convicted and is out of jail and living with his sister. Tierney also added, “This season is all about Noah. The writers made the choice to skip jail. He’s been released. As the season progresses, there are more and more flashbacks. His journey in prison gets revealed towards the end of the season.”

Noah is broke, depressed and teaching a college writing class despite gaining fame from a novel he wrote, which is loosely based on his own affair. He also meets a new love interest this season, a French professor who has her own mysterious backstory. But Alison is still very much on his mind! Where does that leave his ex-wife Helen? What happened to Alison?

Sarah Treem, the writer and producer of this Golden Globe winning drama also shares her idea behind Season 3."I think this season is really about kind of accountability. It gets worse before it gets better with all of the characters having to take stock of who they actually are. And they are all very much at odds with themselves this season."

Will Alison ever be able to fight her inner demons? Is Noah’s past behind him or does he have a new enemy? Will we see an ever wilder version of Helen? What pain, trauma and life-shattering decisions will the newest season bring?
