The battle for prime time TV news viewership continues to be intense, especially for the number two and number three slots.

Aajtak’s top anchor Sudhir Chaudhary has stabilised his position at number three, after more than 30 weeks of launch.

The star anchor’s show Black and White on Aajtak was hovering at number four and five for a long time. It has now broken into the top three.

Legendary face of Indian TV news Rajat Sharma continues to rule at number two. His show has been one of the most popular prime time news show for more than a decade.

News18 India’s managing editor Kishore Ajwani’s show ‘ Sau baat ki ek baat’ continues to be number one for more than three months now.

As per BARC data, News18 India has garnered 16.71% market share for 9-10 pm (TG15+, HSM, Wk 47’22 Mon-fri).

India TV is just marginally behind News18 India with 16.7%. Aajtak is at 15.8%.

In terms of overall viewership also, News18 India is topping the charts with 15.7%, followed by India TV which has garnered 14%. Aajtak has got 13.2% market share.
