The Economic Times app integrates with Google Now

The Economic Times today announced its integration with Google to push relevant and timely updates about companies and stocks via Now cards in the Google app for Android. Starting today, Now Cards will provide relevant information to Google app users from select content providers like the Economic Times, among others.

While the Google app already presents users with timely information such as weather, traffic, maps, reminders, events, nearby attractions and reservations, integration with the Economic Times Android App will provide real time updates on companies, stocks, finance and economy. The new feature will benefit everyone looking for investment updates, on the move.

To get updates on select company stocks, users will just have to add their stocks of interest to ET Portfolio within the Economic Times app. Simply tap open the Google app icon to view Now Cards, and swipe up to find cards that are relevant to your needs and interests.

To get the Economic Times Now cards on your Android device, update the latest Google App from Google Play and sign in to the Economic Times app with your Email ID. The feature will be gradually released to all users in the coming weeks.
