The Global Awards honors the World's best Healthcare Advertising

The Global Awards®, honoring “The World’s Best Healthcare Advertising™” announced that it will honor the 2012 Global Award winners at awards ceremonies globally, in New York City and Sydney Australia. Both celebrations will be held on Thursday, December 6th, 2012.

“The Global Awards is truly international in scope and this year’s competition showed the United States receiving 56 Finalist nominations this year followed by Australia’s robust showing of 38 Finalists, it’s obvious that there’s genius creative work on both sides of the globe.  Hosting Galas in both New York and Sydney allows for an international celebration of Global Award winners,” said Michael Demetriades, Global Awards Executive Director.

The Global Awards ceremony in New York City will be held at the Helen Mills Event Space & Theater located at 137 West 26th Street, in the heart of lively midtown-Manhattan.  The celebration kicks off with a cocktail reception and a showcase of the 2012 award-winning work.  Michael Demetriades, Global Awards Executive Director, and Tom Domanico, Global Awards Advisory Board Chairman & Draft FCB Healthcare Chairman Emeritus, and Grand Jury members will present trophies to this year’s award-winners in attendance.

The Global Awards, and Bravo!, a committee of Australian healthcare professionals with representation from healthcare agencies and the Communications Council of Australia will also host a Global Awards ceremony in Sydney, Australia.  The gala will take place at Sydney Museum of Contemporary Art, located in the historic Rocks district overlooking Sydney Harbour. Global Award winners and guests will celebrate with cocktails and view a showcase of this year’s award-winning works from the Asia/Pacific region, followed by an award presentation. June Laffey, Executive Creative Director, McCann Health, Sydney and Bravo Committee Head along with Jeremy Perrott, Global Creative Director, McCann Health will present Global Awards to winners in attendance.
