'The Kapil Sharma Show' to premiere on Sony on April 23

Putting all speculations to rest, Sony Entertainment Television has announced that it is all set to premiere ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on April 23, 2016 at 9 pm.

Before the show goes on air, fans will get an exclusive chance to interact with the popular stars of the show – Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Kiku Sharda, Navjyot Singh Sidhu, Sumona Chakraborthy and Chandan Prabhakar, besides Sharma – in their own city as they embark on a multi-city tour to promote the new show.

Starting at Amritsar on March 5, Kapil & Gang will move to Bhopal (March 11), Lucknow (March 16) and Delhi (April first week).

Produced by K9 and Frames Production, the first episode of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ will be shot with live audience as an event in Delhi. To further engage the audience, a contest – ‘Kapil Se Mil’ – will be held which will give viewers an opportunity to meet Sharma. All fans have to do is upload a funny video of their family on SonyLiV. The funniest family will a chance to meet Sharma on the sets of the show.
