~ Channel launches a unique initiative giving Salman Khan aficionados an opportunity to get a digitally modified selfie with the superstar~

And then there is Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan that crosses a whopping 620 crore in worldwide box office collections and wins a million hearts across the globe. Salman Khan’s biggest blockbuster till date which was touted to be the best performance of his career – Bajrangi Bhaijaan is all set for the World Television premiere on Star Gold and Star Gold HD this October. 

Riding on Salman Khan’s unprecedented star power, Bajrangi Bhaijaan left its audience with a smile on their face and a tear in their eye by revealing an onscreen persona of their favourite Bhai, like they had never seen before. Supported by superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan and the versatile Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bajrangi Bhaijaan beautifully brought strong emotions on unity, peace and friendship and became one of the biggest family entertainers of all times. The film also gave birth to the cutest superstar in town, Harshaali Malhotra who made the audiences instantly fall in love with her and her character Munni.
Star Gold is leaving no stone unturned to promote its biggest world television premiere of the year and ensuring that a film of the scale of Bajrangi Bhaijaan gets it promotional due. The channel is going to launch an extensive 360 degree marketing campaign comprising of print, outdoor, radio, digital campaigns and in cinema advertising starting 10thSeptember and leading up to the premiere day. Apart from this, an interesting consumer engagement activity called ‘Selfie with Salman Contest’ will be initiated on social media platforms, giving the superstars’ fans a giving the fans a chance to get a digitally modified ‘Selfie with Salman’. The winner images will also be showcased on the channel during the World Television Premier.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan traces the story of Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi (Salman Khan) who is an avid follower of Bajrangi with a magnanimous spirit who promises to reunite a mute Pakistani girl (Harshaali Malhotra) with her parents. His love interest Rasika (Kareena Kapoor) supports Pawan in his seemingly impossible mission. In his journey, Pawan encounters and finds support in a small time freelance TV reporter Chand Nawab (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), who joins the two in their search and helps Pawan take his mission to fruition.
