'The Telegraph' forays in Orissa!

The Telegraph has launched its Orissa edition today. Through this move, The Telegraph will foray into a new state in this decade.

The Telegraph is said to come up with the best content as it is known for and it will be a rich package for the readers comprising a customised main edition, along with lots of value added supplements to cater to specific needs of the readers.

While speaking to Adgully, Dhruba Mukherjee, Associate Vice President, The Telegraph said "since 'The Telegraph' is the No. 1 english newspaper from the east, hence it was but natural to foray into Orissa market to strengthen its bastion." Mukherjee further adds "Orissa is a developing market and it will help the growth in terms of garnering sizable amount of revenue and circulation."

The Orissa edition is priced at Rs 3.50 on weekdays and Rs 5 on Sundays. The paper expects to strengthen its foothold in the eastern region.

On its drive to cover the eastern India, 'The Telegraph' is also said to go to Bihar very soon.
