This Eid, get ready to watch the King Khan’s blockbuster hit ‘Raees’  as it makes its world television premiere on Sunday, 25^th May at 12 Noon on Zee TV. Directed by Rahul Dholakia and starring the Badshah of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan in and as Raees, the film is set in the hinterlands of Gujarat and narrates the story of a clever bootlegger whose business is challenged by a tough cop.

To build buzz on the upcoming premiere of the blockbuster Raees on 25^th June at 12 Noon on ZEE TV, the channel has devised a robust and engaging 360 degree marketing plan across various cities in Hindi Speaking Markets. A larger than life cut out of Shah Rukh Khan as Raees placed in Mumbai’s traffic-filled junction area at Mahim causeway will bring alive the essence of the movie. Engaging with the countless Shah Rukh Khan fans who flock for pictures around the superstar’s house Mannat in Mumbai, the bus shelters and the surrounding area around his home will be done up in the Raees flavour with a life size cut outs of Shah Rukh for a perfect selfie and photo-op.

The film captures the journey of Raees who, as a child, learns the tricks of the liquor smuggling business and later decides to branch out on his own once he grows up. In an age-old war with the IPS officer Majmudar (Niwazudin Siddique), a dangerous cat-and-mouse chase starts when Majmudar gets transferred to same city as Raees. Intoxicated by success and power, Raees not only reaches unimaginable heights but is also drawn into dirty politics, earning him countless enemies. His final consignment turns out to be a betrayal by those closest to him. The movie is a star-studded extravaganza with Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles.
