TikTok honours women with #WhyJustADay

In the lead up to World International Women’s Day, TikTok, the world's leading short video platform, has launched its campaign #WhyJustADay to celebrate and honour the woman spirit  within the community. The in-app campaign aims to spark a conversation about positivity and inspiration, inviting users to share their personal stories. The campaign is an effort to highlight how women essay challenging roles in their day to day lives, and should be celebrated every single day instead of just one day.

The campaign went live on the platform on 4th March, and has received an overwhelming response from users, including women who are coming together to share their stories and inspire other women.

As part of the campaign, Breakthrough India, a women rights organization that champions the cause of gender equality has joined the platform to amplify the message through powerful and engaging videos.
