Times Group Chairperson Indu Jain passes away

Indu Jain, Chairperson of The Times Group has passed away at the age of 84 due to complications caused by Covid-19.

She was the founder of Times Foundation that runs community services, research foundation and Times Relief Fund for disaster relief and also founded the women's wing of FICCI. Jain was awarded the Padma Bhushan in January 2016.

Indu was also the Chairperson of Bharatiya Jnanpith Trust, which awards the prestigious Jnanpith award.
