Times Network Elevates Arnab Goswami and Jagdish as President
The Times Group, in its continuous endeavour to be a relevant, efficient and impactful media company, and in preparation for its future, Times Network has announced strategic changes to its senior management.
Arnab Goswami, Editor in Chief - Times Now has been elevated as President – News & Editor-in-Chief, Times Now and ET Now. As a result, in addition to his role in Times Now, Mr. Goswami will lead the editorial team of ET Now with immediate effect.
CFO Jagdish Mulchandani has been elevated to President – Finance and Distribution. In his new role Mr. Mulchandani will drive strategy and operations for Finance and Distribution besides Traffic and Administration across the company.

Arnab Goswami is a post graduate in Social Anthropology from Oxford University, and has been a visiting fellow at Cambridge University’s Department of International Relations. He has led TIMES NOW to leadership in less than a year of launching the channel in 2006. Since 2007, he has maintained and increased the dominance of TIMES NOW in the Number 1 slot for 8 consecutive years. His 9 pm show “The Newshour” is the hallmark in appointment viewing on Indian television, commanding over 70% share of the audience with unmatched viewer loyalty.
Jagdish Mulchandani holds an MBA in Finance and has participated in several management development programs from IIM Ahmadabad and ISB Hyderabad. He has over 20 years of experience in various industries including Media and Entertainment, both in India and abroad. He has handled a wide array of functions which include Distribution, Finance & Accounts and Business Transformation among others.
