Times Now, India’s leading English news channel today announced Amazing Indians, a prestigious national platform that celebrates and honors the indomitable spirit of India’s common people who have performed uncommon deeds for the improvement of the society.  The awards ceremony will be held on September 09, 2022 in New Delhi. 

Commemorating ordinary Indians from across the nation, Times Now Amazing Indians features inspiring stories of individuals who through their grit, determination and selfless acts of service have significantly impacted people’s lives. Through an exhaustive pan-India screening process, duly evaluated by Ernst & Young (Process Partner) along with a panel of esteemed jury, the premier national awards night will felicitate winners across 12 categories - Animal Welfare, COVID-19 Heroes, Education, Environment, Food Management and Nutrition, Healthcare & Medical Assistance, Pollution, Rural Development, Shelter Management, Slum Care and Girl Child and Women's Rights Empowerment. The distinguished grand jury panel chaired by Dr. Priti Adani (Philanthropist and Chairperson, Adani Foundation), includes Ms. Upasana Kamineni (Vice Chairperson, CSR, Apollo Hospitals), Mr. S Nambi Narayanan (Former Scientist, ISRO), Ms. Sonali Bendre (Actor, Author & TV Personality) and Ustad Amjad Ali Khan (Sarod Maestro & Composer). 

The Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar will grace the event as the Chief Guest and will deliver the keynote address. Amazing Indians will also witness several thought leaders and dignitaries including includes R. K. Singh, Minister of Power and New & Renewable Energy and jury members amongst others felicitate the winners. Adding to the glittering ceremony will be a special performance by Sarod Maestro, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and his Sons & Grandsons, recreating the magic of India’s most patriotic song, Vande Mataram titled Three Generations One Nation.
