Tommy Hilfiger has been a pioneer in India, bringing international concepts into the country ahead of its competitors. This one of a kind launch of completely imported international Children's Wear, reinforces the brand's strategy. Along with the national roll out of the footwear collection and the brand's rapid expansion into tier 2 cities, this launch of Children's Wear will meet the brand objective of rapid growth in India.

To announce their arrival in the market and celebrate the launch, there was a lavish event on 30th September at the Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj. The event was graced by the glamorous Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon and her children as well as, some of Delhi's renowned socialities including Tanisha Mohan, Ankur Modi, Leena Singh, Payal Sen, Arjun and Anjali Kapoor.

"I am super excited to see these preppy clothes on children in India who are all going to lap up this new international collection. Now, I don't need to shop for Children's Wear in London, Paris or New York, as it's all here!" said an ecstatic Raveena Tandon during the unveiling of the Fall 10 Childrenswear Collection.

Tommy Hilfiger brands ethos is culturally livid and strong with the theme of Rock & Roll music and their various musical brand associations. Similarly, the Tommy Hilfiger Children's wear launch event included a musical performance by young upcoming child prodigies and a Rock band performance. The kids' rock band played some groovy numbers, written and composed by them that prepped up the evening. Dressed in Tommy Hilfiger Children's Wear merchandise, they were a treat to watch.

The Fall '10 Children's Wear collection has a classic international appeal and embrace the brand's 'Classic American Cool' aesthetics. Evocative colors and expressive graphics on clean silhouettes give it a distinct Tommy look. The collection boasts of 3 fashion groups:
