TRAI names V Raghunandan as the new Secretary

V.Raghunandan has recently been appointed by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India as the new Secretary, according to the media reports.

Before this, Raghunandan was working as a deputy director-general at the Department of Telecommunications.

This appointment comes after Sunil Kumar Gupta, who was given an extension for two months in March to serve as a TRAI Secretary, till May 31, 2021.

Gupta will  now oversee all field units under the 22 Licensed Service Areas (LSA) as a senior deputy director general, Telecom in the Deparment of Telecommunications. (DoT)
