Tried the Poker Face Challenge yet?

One of the wildest challenges that last went viral was the ALS ICE bucket challenge and another such challenge is the India Poker Championship’s – #acethepokerface that has spread like wildfire.

To leverage the audience frenzy that surrounds the return of the much-awaited live poker tournament and to create an exciting touchpoint for people to be a part of the tournament, the India Poker Championship has initiated the thrilling campaign entitled #acethepokerface. The challenge requires a participant to put a scoop of ice-cream in his or her mouth for 10 seconds and maintain a poker face. The challenge may seem easy to perform but it’s difficult to maintain a poker face with a scoop of ice cream in your mouth. You take it and it freezes your brain!

To get this rolling, the individual then nominates a minimum of three people to do the same thing, having only a 24-hour time frame to complete the challenge. Five lucky winners of the poker face challenge would get a fully paid trip to Goa to witness the Indian Poker Championship, starting from January 14, whilst the top entries would get a shout out on the influencer’s page.

The IPC 2020 edition will take place at the Big Daddy Casino in Panjim, Goa, and will be a six-day extravaganza starting from January 14 till January 20, 2020.

Many TikTok and Instagram influencers have taken part in the #acethepokerface #pokerfacechallenge and are also motivating their friends to #acethepokerfacechallenge. Some of the popular faces of TikTok like– Nagma Mirajkar, Sunny Chopra, and Awez Darbar have already taken up the challenge in a big way. Even popular TV actors and Instagram influencers like Karan Kundra, Anita Hassanandani, Meet Bros, Scarlet Rose, Aditi Bhatia have performed it.

With this engagement programme, Spartan Poker has surpassed the targeted views and user-generated videos expected on the platform, creating new benchmarks of engagement on social media. The brand has been able to obtain more than 8.5 million reach in media value in 10 days and is rapidly increasing.
