True Love, Dates and Rajkumar…Searches on Meesho ahead of Vday

Ahead of Valentine’s Day, Meesho, India’s only true e-commerce marketplace witnessed wacky searches for ‘true love’, ‘peace of mind for singles’ and even ‘Rajkumar’! To celebrate the feeling of love, the e-commerce company launched a special social media campaign around the theme of ‘finding love’.

It all started with #Meeshosabkuchchallenge which asked users to share their craziest search query on Meesho. Over 600,000 people have engaged with the campaign across various social media platforms. From ‘dates’ to ‘full sized teddy bears’ the searches left social media users in splits. Renowned TV actors Jasmin Bhasin and Shaheer Sheikh, among other popular influencers, participated in this campaign.

The brand also engaged in a witty banter with users on Twitter as they searched for the ‘person of their dreams’ through the app’s image search feature. This instantly created a buzz, prompting consumers to dive into the conversation and further share their comical takes on social media. To round things up, the brand is collaborating with singer Mayur Jumani who is creating a song out of all the fun searches on the platform.
