Turns One in 3 cities: I next

I next, the youthful, bilingual, compact daily from the house of Jagran Prakashan Ltd. celebrates the first anniversary of its three newest editions in Bareilly, Jamshedpur and Gorakhpur through the end of March to the first week of April 2011. The daily, known for its innovative format and attractive youth-centric presentation recently turned four on 22nd December 2010 with its oldest edition Kanpur.

Known for its hyper-local and innovative content, i next has managed to strike the right chord with its city-centric, up-market, youthful TG. In order to make its first year in these cities memorable, the editorial, brand and circulation teams of i next are working in tandem to give the readers the best of content and unique fun-filled opportunities for gratification. The anniversary specials will run through a week in each of the cities and carry stories on i next's journey so far, matched with the aspirations of the city. An SMS quiz contest about city-centric trivia is currently on at full swing in each of Bareilly, Jamshedpur and Gorakhpur, with attractive prizes to be won on a daily basis. Apart from this, road shows are taking the anniversary celebrations to the readers with great response from them.

For all I next stakeholders in the media fraternity, a unique gratification scheme is planned to go live through print ads in media publications and e-mailers. All those working in media agencies and corporate and media houses in the metros, who belong to any of the three cities, Bareilly, Gorakhpur and Jamshedpur have surprise gifts in store for them. All they are required to do is send in an SMS stating "SPACESPACE' to 57272 and the first 100 entries will be awarded with a special gift from I next.

2011 has begun on a good note for I next. The latest round of IRS (Q4) has reinstated I next as the largest read compact sized daily in the country with a total readership of 22.93 lakhs. It is currently printed and circulated in 12 cities across the 4 states of UP, Uttaranchal, Bihar and Jharkhand.
