TV ad volumes up by 23% in January; highest in three years: BARC data
The Broadcast Audience Research Council India (BARC India) has shared data on Ad volumes on TV for January 2021 (Week 1-4) comparing it with the same period in 2020. There has been a 23% growth over 2020 and 19% growth over 2019. This is the highest ad volume growth in the past three years.
The increment has been across genres with Kids genre seeing the highest growth rate followed by Music and Movies.
