TV this week: Colors and Life OK emerge as new winners
The TAM data for week 20 saw Colors spring to the second position after a long time. Colors recorded 213 GRPs. Zee shared the number 2 position with Colors as it also gained 213 GRPs this week.
The leap in GRPs of Colors is a result of its flagship show Balika Vadhu; which completed 1000 episodes last week and gained 5 TVR for the same.
Another interesting development was recorded this week as Life OK beat Sony Sab to gain the fifth position. Life OK for the first time since its launch gained 123 GRPs.
Star Plus continued to reign the Hindi GEC space with 262 GRPs; inspite of a decline in GRPs (last week 276).
Zee TV recorded a loss of 11 GRPs as it gained 213 GRPs this week (last week 224). Sony Entertainment Television recorded 210 GRPs (last week 217).
Sony Sab recorded 116 GRPs as compared to last week’s 134 GRPs; thus losing out on 18 GRPs.
Sahara One maintained consistency with 39 GRPs this week (last week 40).
