TV this week: Colors gains channel share, Balika Vadhu remains the No.1 show yet again

According to the latest TAM Star Plus is at number one spot with a GRP (Gross Rating Point) and Channel Share (CS) of 304 and 24.2 % respectively. The channel has three of its shows amongst the top 10 shows across channels which includes Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, Saath Nibhana Saathiya and Pratigya.

With an increased GRP of 269 and a CS of 21.4% Colors is at the number two position this week. Moreover, this week Balika Vadhu with a TVR- 5.65% is the number one show across all GECs. While Uttaran (TVR- 4.12%) and Sasural Simar Ka (TVR-3.69%) is amongst the top 10 shows and placed at number 6 and 7 respectively.

While the channel's big-ticket reality show India's Got Talent opened at 3.91% TVR, which happened to be the highest opening for a non fiction show on GEC in this year. The show in its second week has sustained at 3.4% TVR.

Zee TV is at number three again and this time with a GRP and CS of 190 and 15.1% respectively. Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta (TVR- 4.52%) and Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli (TVR- 3.56%) is at number 4 and 9 respectively.

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) at number four this week has a GRP and CS of 187 and 14.9% respectively. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain with a TVR of 3.57% has made it to the top 10 shows' list this week and is placed at number 8.

SAB has retained its fifth position with a GRP of 124 and a CS of 9.8%, Taarak Mehta Kaa Ooltah Chashma is the number 10 show across all GECs with a TVR of 3.39%. Imagine is positioned at number seven with a GRP and CS of 70 and 5.6% respectively. | By Prabha Hegde [prabha(at)adgully.com]
