TV this week: Colors regained its position; Star continues to rule

The last week of 2011 brought Colors back on second position. Colors outstandingly added 38 GRPs to its account and registered 256 GRPs. For Colors, the first "Golden Petal Awards' changed the game. Though Star lost 19 GRPs this time and registered 325 GRPs, but continues to remain at the first position.

While Sony Entertainment after adding 5 GRPs recorded 240 GRPs and shifted to 3rd position, Zee TV lost 14 GRPs and registered 194 GRPs taking the 4th spot. At the 5th position is SAB TV which recorded 113 GRP's this week, after losing 9 GRPs.

Next on the chart is newly launched Life OK that recorded a decent 87 GRP's in its first week but lost 13 GRPs this week and recorded 74 GRPs. Imagine TV remains at the 7th position with 72 GRP's this week though added 5 GRPs.

Now going towards the program chart, Saath Nibhana Sathiya still remains at the top with 6.01 TVR. Remaining at 2nd position, Star's another show Diya Aur Bati Hum recorded 6.00 TVR followed by Color's "Golden Petal Awards' which recorded 4.98 TVR. Balika Vadhu took the fourth spot and listed 4.92 TVR. On the 5th position is Star Plus's award show, "Big Entertainment Awards' which registered 4.63 TVR whereas Ek Hazaroon Meri Behena Hai closed the charts with 4.33 TVR. | By Aanchal Kohli [aanchal(at)adgully.com]
