TV this week: GEC's register growth, KBC's 5 crore winning episode breaks records

Adding a whopping 62 GRP's to its accounts, Star Plus persists as the No.1 Hindi GEC in India. While, Kaun Banega Crorepati's Rs 5 cr winning episodes took away all numbers and calculations by storm, Sony walked similar roads, recording 287 GRP's this week. IT has added 51 GRPs to last week's 236.

Colors continue to stay on the third position with 240 GRP's as against 236 last week. Adding 12 GRP's this week, Zee TV is at No.4 spot recording 143 GRP.

Adding minor numbers to their charts, SAB and Imagine maintained 5th and 6th positions recording 121 and 70 GRP's respectively.

The two episodes of Sushil Kumar winning the Rs 5 crore jackpot on Kaun Banega Crorepati has created a new record for the channel and the TVR charts as well.
