TV this week: India's Got Talent 3 opens with 3.9 TVR

According to the latest TAM Star Plus has seen an increase its ratings and Channel Share. Star Plus is at number one spot with an increased GRP (Gross Rating Point) and Channel Share (CS) of 345 and 26.1 % respectively. The channel has four of its shows amongst the top 10 shows across channels which includes Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Florina IIFA Awards 2011 and Pratigya.

With a GRP of 266 and a CS of 20.2% Colors is at the number two position this week. Moreover, this week Balika Vadhu with a TVR- 6.54% is the number one show across all GECs. While Uttaran (TVR- 4.57%) and Sasural Simar Ka (TVR-3.71%) is amongst the top 10 shows and placed at number 5 and 9.

While the channel's big-ticket reality show India's Got Talent opened at 3.91% TVR, which is also the highest opening for a non fiction show on GEC in this year. The show sustained at 3.2% TVR on Saturday as well and is placed at number 8 position in the list of top 10 shows across GECs.

Zee TV is at number three again and this time with a GRP and CS of 208 and 15.8% respectively. Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta with a TVR- 5.05% is at number 3 this week.

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) at number four this week has a GRP and CS of 190 and 14.4% respectively. None of the shows from the channel has made it to the top 10 shows' list this week and is placed at number 7.

SAB has retained its fifth position with a GRP of 125 and a CS of 9.5%, Taarak Mehta Kaa Ooltah Chashma is the number 10 show across all GECs with a TVR of 3.63%. Imagine is positioned at number seven with a GRP and CS of 71 and 5.4% respectively. | By Prabha Hegde [prabha(at)adgully.com]
