TV this week: Sony rules the TAM charts with 5 shows in top 10 list!

The 38th week of TAM 2012 brought in top notch Hindi GEC's calling a close call, not for the 1st place, but the 2nd spot. According to TAM data, Star Plus continues to rue the GEC charts, while Zee TV, Sony and Colors fought for the next spot. 
 
Star Plus continues to be India No. 1 Hindi GEC with 252 GRPs, a minor addition of 2 GRPs from last week. Despite some viewership loss this week, Zee TV has managed to hold its position at the second spot and recorded 235 GRPs (last week 240).
 
After sharing the third place last week, Colors and Sony have separated with a difference of 1 GRP only! While Colors stands on the 3 spot with 233 GRPs this week (last week 230), Sony is on the 4th position and has recorded 232 GRPs (last week 230). 
 
Though with  loss of 7 GRPs, SAB TV is on the 5th place recording 131 GRPs this week. After registering a significant jump last week with exceptional performance of MAHADEV, Life OK has been pushed to No. 6 after losing 43 points this week. It has recorded 124 GRPs in Week 38 (last week 167).
 
Touching its lowest mark is Sahara One which has recorded 29 GRPs this week.
 
On the show TVR charts, while Star Plus's show Diya aur Bati Hum tops the list week with 6.4 TVR, Sony's 5 shows have made it into the list of top 10 shows of the week. Sony's flagship fiction property Bade Achche Lagte Hai and Colors Balika Vadhu tie at the second spot with 5.5 TVR. This is followed by KBC with 4.9 TVR at 4th spot and Zee TV's Dance Ke Superkids with 4.7 TVR. The opening episode of Colors' India's Got Talent made it to the 6th position scoring 4.1 TVR, followed by Star Plus's show Saath Nibhana Saathiya at 4 TVR. The 8th place was shared between Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlta Hai, CID and Crime Patrol, with 3.7 TVRs each; while Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe opened with 3.4 TVRs.
