TV this week: Star and Colors see increase in GRP and Channel Share

According to the latest TAM data Colors and Star Plus have seen an increase its ratings and Channel Share. Star Plus is at number one spot with an increased GRP (Gross Rating Point) and Channel Share (CS) of 320 and 25.3 % respectively. The channel has four of its shows amongst the top 10 shows across channels which includes Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Navya and Pratigya.

With a sharp increase in GRP to 271 and a CS (Channel Share) of 21.4% Colors is at the number two position this week. Moreover, this week Balika Vadhu with a TVR- 5.55% is the number one show across all GECs. While Uttaran with TVR- 5.04% is amongst the top 10 shows and placed at number 3.

Zee TV is at number three again and this time with a GRP and CS of 185 and 14.6% respectively. Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta (TVR- 5.01%) and while Ram Milayi Jodi (TVR- 3.36%) are at number 4 and 10 respectively this week.

At a close proximity, Sony Entertainment Television (SET) at number four this week has a GRP and CS of 182 and 14.3% respectively. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (TVR-3.84%) from the channel has made it to the top 10 shows' list this week and is placed at number 7.

SAB has retained its fifth position with a GRP of 133 and a CS of 10.5%, Taarak Mehta Kaa Ooltah Chashma is the number 8 show across all GECs with a TVR of 3.84%. Imagine is positioned at number seven with a GRP and CS of 65 and 5.1% respectively. | By Prabha Hegde [prabha(at)adgully.com]
