TV this week: Zee and Sony see a decline, Uttaran replaces Pavitra Rishta

This week Pavitra Rishta the No1 show for all these weeks has been pushed to number four. With a TVR of 5.2% the show is the only one from Zee TV to make to the TAM's list on top 10 shows across GECs. Zee TV at number three has seen in a decline in its Gross Rating Points (GRP) and Channel Share (CS) which is at 187 and 14.3% respectively this week.

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) which saw a leap in its GRP and CS, thanks to the telecast of Rajnikant starrer movie Robot (TVR 5.43 %) is at number four with a poor performance and no shows amongst the top 10 shows' list. The channel at number four has a reduced GRP of 159 and CS of 12.2%.

Star Plus maintaining its number one position has reported a GRP and CS of 291 and 22.3%. Star Plus this time around has four of its shows amongst the top 10 shows across channels. Saathiya Saath Nibhana , Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, Pratigya and Sasuraal Genda Phool from Star Plus have made it to the list of the top 10 shows.

Colors is at number two with an increased GRP and CS of 272 and 20.8% respectively. Moreover, this week Colors' show Uttaran is the number one show across all GECs with a TVR of 5.86%. Laagi Tujhse Lagan (TVR-5.63%), Balika Vadhu (TVR-4.66%) and Na Aana Is Des Meri Laado (TVR- 4.62%) from Colors' wide offering are amongst the top 10 shows and placed at number 2, 5 and 6 respectively.

While SAB has been able to maintain the number five position with a decent Channel Share (CS) of 10.7%, its Gross Rating Points (GRP) has been increased to 136. The channel's most famous show Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma is the number 10 show across GECs with a TVR of 3.47%. This week DD1 has toppled Imagine again for the sixth position with a GRP and CS of 91 and 7% respectively.

The close and high spirited match between India and Australia where the Aussies lost to the Indian blue-wagon, got a TVR of 6.26% (Star Cricket) and 4.08% (Star Sports).
