Twitter allows creators to monetize on the social media platform

Elon Musk recently announced that Twitter users can now monetise their content via the subscription along with long-form text and hour-long videos.
For the next 12 months, Twitter won't take a portion of this money; instead, users who offer the subscription by turning on the "Monetization" option will receive all of the money subscribers pay, minus any fees that platforms like Android and iOS impose.
Elon Musk tweeted: “We will also help promote your work. Our goal is to maximize creator prosperity. At any point, you can leave our platform and take your work with you. Easy in, easy out,”
This action follows Twitter's merger with X Corp and Elon Musk's initiatives on verification, including the $8-price increase for Twitter Blue. Since Twitter's ad revenue declined last year, Musk has been working to increase it.
Elon Musk, in a Twitter Spaces live interview with BBC, remarked that running Twitter has been "quite painful" and "a rollercoaster."
Twitter will now allow tweets up to 10,000 characters in length with bold and italic text formatting that are accessible to Twitter Blue users as part of the new update for verified accounts.
Musk, however, did not provide any additional information regarding how authors will be paid for their work.
