Twitter blocks 250 accounts that were tweeting about farmers protests

Twitter has blocked access to 250 accounts including The Caravaan, Kisan Ekta Morcha, and Shashi Shekhar Vempati (CEO, Prasar Bharati) among others. These accounts are believed to be in vocal support of the ongoing farmers support.

The social platform has claimed that an authorized entity has requested the platform to block these accounts. The platform usually notifies the blocked accounts unless it is prohibited from doing so. (if it receives a court order under seal)
