Twitter India launches gratitude emoji
Since March 15, there have been over 250 million Tweets worldwide expressing gratitude and thanks - a 26% increase from February’s average.
The use of the pray and clap emojis are also up 50% and 10% respectively.
To give back and highlight the millions of Tweets using these positive terms, Twitter has launched a new emoji - , activated by using #thankful , #grateful , #धनà¥à¤¯à¤µà¤¾à¤¦ and other variations of the words in various languages.
Earlier in April, on #WorldHealthDay, Twitter (@Twitter) had also sent out a token of appreciation for healthcare workers by Tweeting with ‘clap’ emojis, with several global and Indian personalities following suit.

The best thing that this lockdown has done to me is reviving my practice of #Yoga, which I left 2 years & couldn't start again. Infact, I have been successful in getting up between 4-4.15 AM for the last one week, the actual time when I prefer to meditate. All for good😊#Grateful
