Twitter India's Public Policy Head Mahima Kaul calls it quits

Mahima Kaul, Public Policy Head and Government Partnerships at Twitter India, has put in her papers citing personal reasons. She was associated with the company for over five years and will continue working with the organisation till March.

Her resignation comes at a time when the micro-blogging company is facing flak by the Indian government for not upholding block against accounts which are in support of farmers’ protests and use of the hashtag ‘ModiPlanningFarmerGenocide’.

She has tendered her resignation in January.
