Twitter removes  "Direct Message" button

After Twitter's takeover by billionaire Elon Musk twitter went through several changes. Now the latest update has reportedly removed the direct messages button for both Android and IOS users. 
However, twitter has not yet announced the removal of this button.

Removing the direct message button might not be an intentional move by the company, it can be the result of bugs affecting mobile users.
