Twitter's redesigned API now includes support for Twitter Spaces

The two endpoints being provided are Spaces lookup and Spaces search, and all developers using the Twitter API v2 will be able to use them. Developers may now browse live or planned Spaces using parameters such as Spaces ID, user ID, or keyword, and create tools and solutions to help people quickly find Spaces that are relevant to their interests.

Developers can access data metrics such as participant count, list of Speakers and Hosts (including Co-hosts), detected language, start time, scheduled start time, creation time, status (live or scheduled), and ticketed status through the Space data dictionary, which contains a set of metadata that can help understand an active Space.

Twitter is also working on a feature that would allow developers to create tools and features tailored to Spaces Hosts, as well as provide notifications for forthcoming Spaces in their tools

The two main focus areas of Twitter are enabling users to discover relevant Spaces and create reminders, and providing data metrics to Space Hosts to assess their Space's effectiveness.
