Twitter to remove pictures posted without consent

Following the promotion of India-born Parag Agrawal to Twitter's top position, the microblogging service has issued an unusual amendment to its policy, which prohibits the posting of any private information without the person's consent.

The policy, which was published on the company's blog on November 30, a day after Agrawal was named CEO, stipulates that images, videos, or IDs of private individuals that are posted without their consent would be removed at their request.
