Two all-female MEC teams to spice up the Young Lions in Cannes!

Two all-female teams have been selected to represent leading media agency at the illustrious 2012 Young Lions competition at this year’s Cannes Festival.

Following stiff competition, Laura Robinson and Rosie Duncan from MEC’s UK office and Paula Ahicart and Laura Liz from MEC’s Madrid have won through to represent the agency in the final.
The Young Lions Competition is held during the Festival and is open to any advertising professional aged 28 or below. The selection process to get to the final is run by a local Cannes Lions representative and all winners will compete against teams from across the globe when the Festival starts on 17th June 2012.

Charles Courtier, global CEO, MEC, commented: “To succeed, our teams had to wow the judges with presentations covering insight, strategy and of course passion. This year the girls have outshone their male counterparts and we’re sending four hugely talented young people to represent our agency. We’re proud to have people working at MEC of such high caliber and I am sure they’ll go on and represent our agency superbly in the final of the competition.”
