Two major appointments in the industry

Recently the Media & Entertainment Industry witnessed two major appointments one in the Television industry of Rohit Kumar joining Focus News and the other in Print of Sundar Kondur joining The Hindu as VP National Account.

While sources close to us confirmed both the news’ Rohit Kumar will move from VP marketing Zee News to Senior VP Marketing, Research and Regulatory at Focus News.

Kumar has about 15 years of experience, of which he spent 12 years at Zee News in different capacities. Prior to Zee Media, Kumar worked with Aaj Tak for over two years.

At Zee, Kumar was responsible for handling the planning, organising and executing activities of the brand. He was also responsible for managing Government and legal relations, and representing Zee News Media in all Ministries of India.

Meanwhile, Sundar Kondur will replace Suresh Srinivasan as VP, National Account at The Hindu. Kondur is expected to join The Hindu from the first week of May.

Prior to this, Kondur was working with Times VPL in Bangalore. Kondur has an experience of more than 20 years. He has worked with the Times Group, Mid-Day and India Today.
