Uber chooses Bollywood movie “Phillauri” to connect with the masses
In a strategic move, cab hailing service provider, Uber has tied up with the recently released Bollywood flick Phillauri in order to gain greater visibility among their target consumers. This association has successfully been integrated by Brand Street India, a leading integrated marketing agency and Why? Stay!Calm! Entertainment, their partners in the domain of Film Integration & Content Production.
Uber has merged its experience with that of Bollywood in order to make it more than just a safe cab service medium. They are giving riders an opportunity to make their rides a lot more fun. Under this association, the activities range from in-app promotions, changing the screen of the app for a week and meet and greet with the stars of the movie. The meet and greet contest organised by the cab giant trended on social media with the hashtag UberKaraokewithPhillauri. Under this, all one had to do was to break into a car karaoke with songs from Phillauri and upload the Uber karaoke on social media. The winners of this contest will soon be meeting the stellar cast , Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh.
