Unacademy launches anthem sung by Naezy and produced by Dub Sharma

Unacademy, an education technology company today launched an anthem as part of the second phase of ‘Let’s Crack It’ campaign. The anthem is sung by Naezy (Naved Shaikh), an emerging rap artist from the Gully Boy team, and produced by Dub Sharma is an ode to students’ hard work and perseverance while preparing for any exam, with ‘Let’s Crack It’ echoing throughout. Apart from it being a colloquial expression, Unacademy wanted to emphasize the ‘let’s’ part of the catchphrase as the company is democratizing education by creating a platform for students where there are no differential pricing or rank based batches.

The anthem focuses on the many issues prevalent in the Indian education system and undue pressure on students, thus making Unacademy as the beacon of hope that will help students achieve their dreams.

In line with the release of the new anthem, Naezy (Naved Shaikh), an emerging rap artist from the Gully Boy team, said, “Most students in India have gone through the pressure of balancing their daily life struggles along with their exams. In today’s tough competitive environment, acing the exams has become the pinnacle of success. Hence, through this anthem, we wanted to connect with the daily issues faced by these students and motivate them to achieve their goals & dreams. We feel that everyone who is taking an exam or has taken an exam in their lives will truly see through the emotions in the anthem.”

Gaurav Munjal, Co-Founder, and CEO at Unacademy said, “At Unacademy, our aim has been to create an unstoppable revolution by disrupting the way education is imparted in India. Our mission is to go beyond such traditional learning methods and question the status quo. We want to be the spokesperson of hardworking students, who deserve the very best, irrespective of their socio-economic conditions. We feel that this anthem will resonate with every student who is preparing for an exam. The impactful lyrics used in the anthem by Naezi help highlight the issues of India’s flawed education system and motivates students across the country.”
