UNIQLO launches around the world with Roger Federer

Global apparel retailer UNIQLO today announces the start of Around the World with Roger Federer, a new project with its Global Brand Ambassador Roger Federer to support the children who represent the next generation. While Roger has achieved many feats as a professional tennis player, this global event will support the development of children around the world through tennis, along with a variety of art and culture programs. The project will start with an event in London in June 2023, and travel to cities worldwide.

More details about the upcoming events will be announced over the coming months. For updates, please bookmark the special event website:

UNIQLO is also producing an accompanying video series, 24 Hours with Roger, that follows Roger on his travels. Roger explores global cities and introduces his favorite spots - something he didn’t have time to do during his professional tennis career, all while demonstrating how LifeWear adapts to every situation and every mood. The first episode, showcasing Roger’s visit to Tokyo, was released on Tuesday, March 28.

Commenting on the new project, Roger Federer said: “I am thrilled to share the news of my latest collaboration with UNIQLO. Through "Around the World with Roger Federer," our hope is to inspire and impact young minds, while also indulging in my passion for art, tennis, and culture. With "24 Hours with Roger," I look forward to showcasing LifeWear around various corners of the globe while exploring diverse cultures and connecting with local communities and fans.”

Koji Yanai, Group Senior Executive Officer of UNIQLO parent company Fast Retailing, said: “We are extremely pleased to be launching this new educational project for children with our Global Brand Ambassador, Roger Federer. As a professional tennis player, Roger always eagerly participated in educational programs for kids and social contribution activities, and through this initiative with UNIQLO, will be able to offer children around the world a multifaceted program that extends beyond the confines of sport.”
