Vadilal eyes for a bigger scoop this supper; Launches three new campaigns!

Vadilal has introduced a new ad campaign dedicated to lunch its three latest flavors being Gourmet, Flingo & Bada bite. The conceptualization of this entire campaign is done by Triton communications. This campaign mainly caters to introducing the variety offerings in ice- cream by Vadilal.

The positioning of all the three products encompasses a wide range of choice. As Gourmet Vadilal has a sensual appearance with a suggestive slogan saying, "The heavenly pleasure". On the other hand with a Flingo flavor suggesting fun of surprises says, "ismein chupa hain surprise'' , Vadilal also brings in a variety of Bada bite offering , " Happiness jo chalti jaye!"

In the advertising for Gormet variety there is a female model who is shown to be relishing the ice-cream and sensually indulging into it's taste. The work done on the sensuality of product photography is fairly serving its purpose of arousing temptation. The ad could have also spoken at least a one liner voice over emphasizing the two sub- flavors being Pistachio Almond Fudge and Belgian Chocolate which are displayed in the last frame.

Second ad of Vadilal's campaign is for Flingo ice-cream features a guy gets a tattoo done. He shows the tattoo to his girlfriend but surprisingly it turns out to be her friend's name present right there. As a result the girlfriend gets upset and leaves but the girl named in a tattoo goes out with him to have Flingo with a voice over suggesting, "ismein chupa hain surprise''.

Whereas in the ad for BadaBite shows a college boy asking the girl out for dinner or atleast a coffeee. She refuses for both but as he asks for just one ice cream she agrees and they eat vadilal BadaBite. And they happen to spend hours together as it's a BadaBite ice-cream though its only one ice-cream.

All the three ads of the campaign are on air and are serving for need of the season's burning summer heat. On the appearance of Vadilal's advertisements, Triton communications seems to be targeting the young segment of its audience. | Manjiri Pupala [manjiri(at)adgully.com]
